Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Cairo to Bahariya and Private Oasis Camp

Private Cairo or Giza pickup with comfort stops and lunch in Bahariya. Meet Ahmed, review the camera-equipment list, then photograph sunset from English Mountain or the oasis lake. Dinner and Bedouin tea are served at a private serviced camp beside the oasis, with sleeping tents, shade, toilets and washing arrangements.

Meals: Lunch and dinner.

Day 2: Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, Agabat and White Desert

Travel by prepared 4×4 through the Black Desert, El Hez area, Crystal Mountain and Agabat Valley. Lunch is served in shade. Continue to selected White Desert formations for unhurried golden-hour photography, dinner and a private serviced overnight camp.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 3: Return North for the Total Eclipse

Leave early for the verified Black Desert field. A quiet tripod line, family zone, shade, cooled rest area, reclining chairs, toilets, water and glasses are ready. Experience more than 6 minutes of totality, rest during the hottest period, then enjoy dinner and a private Black Desert camping night.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.

Day 4: Bahariya and Cairo Return

Breakfast at camp, 4×4 transfer to Bahariya, lunch and air-conditioned return to Cairo or Giza.

Private Booking, Price Lock and Eclipse Safety

  • Start with a free availability request by form or WhatsApp; Ahmed Abdelaziz confirms your private setup personally in writing.
  • Each booking party receives its own sleeping setup, shade, dining arrangement and service plan. Your booking stays fully private and is never merged with unrelated parties.
  • The deposit is USD 250 per adult after written confirmation and is deducted in full from the tour price.
  • The written price is locked after the deposit. The published price already covers the listed permits, transport, camping, meals, taxes and eclipse services, with no compulsory local surcharges.
  • Solo travelers are welcome for the published solo total shown on this page.
  • Ages 0–5 stay free when sharing the family setup; ages 6–11 pay 50% of the adult price; ages 12+ use the adult price.
  • Certified ISO 12312-2 eclipse glasses and a safety briefing are included. Glasses are removed only during totality and replaced immediately when totality ends.

Cancellation Policy

  • 180+ days before departure: refund of payments received, less non-recoverable payment-processing charges.
  • 91–179 days: the USD 250 adult deposit is retained; all other payments are refunded.
  • 46–90 days: 50% of the total tour price is refunded.
  • 0–45 days: payments are non-refundable because event services are committed, but the booking may be transferred to another traveler up to 14 days before departure without an administration charge.
  • If Egypt Safari Travel cancels: 100% of payments made to Egypt Safari Travel are refunded.

Remaining balance: due 2 May 2027 unless a written installment plan is agreed.

How is the booking confirmed?

After written availability confirmation, each adult pays a USD 250 deposit. It is credited in full against the published price.

Your written price is locked after the deposit and includes all listed services, with no compulsory local surcharges.

Are the tours private?

Yes. Your booking stays fully private and is never merged with unrelated parties. Your party receives its own camp setup, dining area and service plan.

Can one person book?

Yes. The solo total includes the private vehicle and private camping setup.

Are eclipse glasses included?

Yes. Every guest receives certified eclipse glasses and a safety briefing. Ordinary sunglasses are not safe for partial phases.

How do you manage the August heat?

Viewing fields include large shade structures, cooled rest space, reclining chairs, toilets, water stations, electrolytes, light food, first aid and an emergency return vehicle.

Are meals, permits and entry fees included?

Yes. Meals shown in the itinerary, continuous drinking water, required local permits and listed entrance fees are included.

Can photographers bring equipment?

Yes. Declare large tripods, telescopes, hard cases and power requirements before confirmation. Guests supply their own front-mounted solar camera filters.

Is there a weather guarantee?

While no operator can guarantee natural sky conditions, the Western Desert is known for highly favorable August skies. The team uses a fixed prepared field and monitors conditions carefully.

What happens if Egypt Safari Travel cancels?

All payments made directly to Egypt Safari Travel for the cancelled tour are refunded.
