Your Djara Cave Safari from Cairo begins with an early morning pick-up from Cairo at around 7:00 AM. You will drive towards Bahariya Oasis, one of the most beautiful and important gateways to Egypt’s Western Desert. The journey takes approximately four hours, giving you time to leave the busy city behind and enter the peaceful desert atmosphere.
Upon arrival in Bahariya Oasis, you will enjoy lunch at a Bedouin restaurant, followed by traditional Bedouin tea. After lunch, your safari adventure begins by 4x4 vehicles.
The first stop of the day is the Black Desert, a dramatic volcanic landscape famous for its black-topped hills and wide desert views. This area offers a beautiful contrast between golden sand and dark volcanic rocks, making it a great place for photography and exploration.
After that, you will visit a Bedouin village where you can enjoy the hot and cold springs. Swimming and relaxation may be available depending on the conditions of the day. This stop gives you a refreshing break before continuing deeper into the desert.
Your journey continues to Crystal Mountain, one of the most famous natural attractions in the Western Desert. You will then drive through breathtaking desert scenery towards the Airport Area, a unique landscape where the desert starts to reveal its changing formations.

Today, you will drive to El Gara Cave, also known as Djara Cave. This hidden desert cave is the main highlight of the tour and one of the most unique natural places in Egypt’s Western Desert. Inside the cave, you will explore spectacular limestone formations and experience a completely different side of the desert.
After visiting Djara Cave, you will return through Ain El Serw, a peaceful desert spring and oasis stop surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the silence of the desert.
The journey continues to the Great Valley, where you will enjoy lunch and rest in the natural shade. After lunch, you will visit the Petrified Wood Area, where ancient fossilized wood creates a fascinating desert landscape and adds a special geological touch to the adventure.
You will then continue to Mangrove Valley and Rose Valley, two beautiful desert stops that add more variety to the route. These areas are perfect for travelers who enjoy nature, photography, and quiet landscapes away from crowded tourist areas.
Before sunset, you will arrive at the White Desert, one of the most famous natural wonders in Egypt. The White Desert is known for its surreal chalk rock formations shaped by wind over thousands of years.
The camp will be set up in the White Desert, where you will enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner, Bedouin tea, a campfire gathering, and a magical overnight stay surrounded by white formations and a sky full of stars.

Start your final day with an early wake-up in the White Desert. Enjoy breakfast at the campsite while surrounded by one of the most magical desert landscapes in Egypt.
After breakfast, you will explore the most famous rock formations of the White Desert. These natural formations have been carved by wind over time and have become some of the most iconic sights in Egypt’s Western Desert.
You will visit Rabbit Rock, Camel Rock, Chicken Rock, Mushroom Rock, and Sphinx Rock. Each formation has its own unique shape, making this part of the tour perfect for photography, walking, and enjoying the peaceful desert views.
You will also visit Camp Valley, another beautiful area of the White Desert where you can enjoy more scenery and take final photos before leaving the desert.
After exploring the White Desert, you will return by 4x4 vehicle to Bahariya Oasis. Lunch will be served in Bahariya Oasis before starting the drive back to Cairo.
